I have been a reader for as long as I can remember. As a child I kept a torch under the covers; as an adult I keep a stack on every surface. Books are how I make sense of the world, and this blog is where I share what I find.

I started Book Lady Sarah because I wanted a place to think out loud about the books I love -- and occasionally the ones I do not. Every review here is honest, personal, and written with the belief that the right book at the right time can change everything.

When I am not reading, you will find me hiking with my dog, experimenting with sourdough, or reorganising my bookshelves for the hundredth time.
